Preventing Loneliness Syndrome in the Elderly
Leaving seniors alone at home with domestic helpers often causes anxiety for working children. Domestic helpers generally lack medical training in case of emergencies, and seniors often end up just sitting and watching TV all day.
A lack of activity and peers is the main trigger for Loneliness Syndrome, which can accelerate dementia and lower immunity. KNH's Senior Daycare is here as the middle-ground solution.
Operating Hours: 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM
You simply drop them off in the morning before work and pick them up after the office. We will take care of their meals, medication, therapy, and bathing.
Our Daily Program Focus
Every minute spent at Kanopi Nursing Home is designed to maintain the motor and cognitive abilities of the elderly.
Daily Medical Supervision
Every morning upon arrival, our nurses will check vital signs (Blood Pressure, Temperature, Blood Sugar). We also ensure their routine medication schedule is never missed.
Cognitive & Motor Therapy
Various fun activities guided by trained caregivers, ranging from light elderly gymnastics, hydroponic gardening, singing, to brain games (puzzles/chess) to delay dementia.
Peer Socialization
Gathering, chatting, and laughing together with other seniors in an equal environment restores their zest for life and makes them feel recognized and valued.
